FocusWindow Privacy Policy

FocusWindow is a desktop focus workspace. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information We Collect

When you create an account or use sync features, FocusWindow may store:

• Your email address and account authentication details through Supabase.
• Your display name, if you set one.
• Focus progress, timer settings, task data, app preferences, widget settings, FocusTab configuration, background choices, and similar app state.

When you connect third-party services, such as Spotify, the app stores connection tokens locally on your device so the integration can work. FocusWindow does not ask for or store your Spotify password.

FocusTabs are embedded browser views. Websites opened inside FocusTabs may collect data according to their own privacy policies.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Let you sign in and sync your FocusWindow data.
• Restore your workspace and preferences.
• Provide connected features such as Spotify controls.
• Improve reliability and diagnose issues when you report them.

Third-Party Services

FocusWindow relies on third-party services including Supabase for account and sync features. If you connect integrations such as Spotify, those services process your data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Data Storage

Some data is stored locally on your device. Synced account data is stored in Supabase. If you sign out or switch users, FocusWindow clears local account-specific session state, FocusTab browser sessions, and Spotify connection tokens from the app.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with service providers needed to operate the app, or when required by law.

Your Choices

You can stop using sync by signing out. You can disconnect Spotify from inside the app. You can request deletion of your account data by contacting the app maintainer.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures for the app, but no system is perfectly secure. Keep your device and account credentials protected.

Changes

We may update this policy as FocusWindow changes. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated policy.
